Market @ The Piazza in Philadelphia

The Market at the Piazza at Schmidt's
Home to the very first MECANIC Pop Up Shop, which sells Jypsea and Nic*Fish, the lines of your favorite bloggers (Meca & Nic)--along with other indie designers that we adore.  According to its website it is "An 80,000 square foot plaza where culture and community converge. Free to all, the Piazza features a never ending stream of live programming. From funk to films, yoga to Yo Yo Ma, dance to Dj's, or the Phillies to the philharmonic."

We found it to be a great place to meet other emerging artists and designers, shop, and get amazing deals. There is art and jewelry from locales as distant as Tanzania and the Ukraine. Handcrafted organic baby lines. Local accessory designers experimenting with leather and feathers. And even well established companies seeeking a new way to come and and interact with new customers.
So if you are in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philly this summer, don't miss this gem. And after shopping is done, there are plenty of restaurants on-site to choose from. Enjoy!
The Piazza is located at 2nd & Germantown Avenue in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia every Saturday and Sunday frpm 12pm-7pm.
